Terms of Service

Effective date: June 1, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of The Golden Market (the "Site", "we", "us", or "our"), available at goldenstock.ca. By creating an account, placing an order, or otherwise using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. About The Golden Market

The Golden Market is an independent peer-assisted marketplace where users can buy and sell in-game cosmetic items ("skins") for Roblox-based games, including but not limited to Sniper Duels, Bladeball, and Roblox Limiteds. We act as an intermediary that lists inventory, processes payments, and coordinates in-game delivery via Roblox trades.

2. Eligibility and Minors

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction (typically 18), you may only use the Site with the verifiable consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to be bound by these Terms on your behalf. We may suspend any account we reasonably believe belongs to a minor without proper parental consent.

3. Accounts and Responsibilities

  • You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials confidential.
  • One account per person. Multi-accounting to abuse promotions or evade bans is prohibited.
  • You are responsible for all activity on your account.
  • If your account is banned for fraud, scamming, chargebacks, or other prohibited behavior, you forfeit access to the account, any pending store credit or balance, and any items in transit related to fraudulent activity. Lawful, completed purchases that pre-date the violation will still be honored where reasonably possible.
  • Bans for accidental or first-time minor violations may be appealed by emailing support@goldenstock.ca.

4. How Transactions Work

The Golden Market acts as an escrow between buyer and seller: we hold your payment from the moment it is received until the item has been delivered into your Roblox account and the dispute window has closed. A typical transaction proceeds as follows:

  1. You browse the inventory and add items to your cart.
  2. You proceed to checkout and choose a payment method.
  3. You complete payment. Funds are received and held by The Golden Market as escrow — they are not released to the underlying seller until delivery is confirmed. Crypto payments are verified on-chain via TXID; PayPal, Zelle, and Interac e-Transfer are verified manually or via processor confirmation.
  4. Once payment is confirmed, we verify the listed item is in our verified inventory and coordinate a Roblox in-game trade to deliver it to the Roblox username you provided at checkout.
  5. You accept the in-game trade and confirm receipt in your Roblox inventory. You may also confirm receipt in your order page on the Site.
  6. A trade is considered completed when (a) the item has been transferred into the buyer's Roblox inventory, and (b) 24 hours have passed without a dispute being opened, or the buyer has explicitly confirmed receipt — whichever comes first.
  7. Escrow is only released to the seller after the order is considered completed under the previous step. If a valid dispute is opened during the 24-hour window, escrow remains held until the dispute is resolved under Section 6.

What escrow does and does not cover. Escrow protects you against non-delivery, mis-described items, and items that cannot be delivered due to our fault. It does not cover losses caused by you sharing your Roblox account, accepting trades from third parties outside our official trader account, providing the wrong Roblox username, or chargebacks/reversals you file in bad faith after delivery.

5. Refunds and Returns

Because skins are digital goods delivered into your Roblox account, all sales are final once a trade is completed. Before delivery, you may cancel an order and receive a refund to the original payment method where that method supports refunds (see Section 8). After delivery, refunds are only issued where we determine, in our sole discretion, that the item was materially not as described or could not be delivered.

6. Dispute Resolution

If you believe there is an issue with your order, you must open a dispute within 24 hours of delivery by emailing support@goldenstock.ca or using in-site support. Provide your order ID, Roblox username, and any relevant screenshots or video evidence. We will review the evidence in good faith. The Golden Market is the final arbiter of all disputes, and our decision is binding on all parties to the trade.

7. Prohibited Behavior

  • Scamming, phishing, or attempting to defraud other users or the platform.
  • Filing fraudulent chargebacks or reversing payments after delivery.
  • Botting, scripting, scraping, or otherwise automating interactions with the Site.
  • Impersonating staff, other users, Roblox, or any third party.
  • Selling stolen, hacked, or recovered accounts or items.
  • Harassment, hate speech, threats, or doxxing of staff or other users.
  • Evading bans via alternate accounts, VPNs, or false identification.
  • Using the Site to launder funds or for any unlawful purpose.

Violations may result in immediate account termination and reporting to law enforcement.

8. Payment Methods

We currently accept the following payment methods:

  • Cryptocurrency: Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), Litecoin (LTC).
  • PayPal (Goods & Services where applicable).
  • Zelle.
  • Interac e-Transfer (Canada).

Important: Cryptocurrency and Zelle transactions are irreversible by design and non-refundable by nature. Once a crypto transaction is broadcast to the network, or a Zelle transfer is sent, we cannot reverse it on the rails. Any refund for these methods will be issued as store credit unless we explicitly agree otherwise.

9. Delivery

Most orders are delivered within 5–30 minutes after payment confirmation. Large crypto payments may take longer due to on-chain confirmation requirements. If delivery cannot be completed within 24 hours due to a fault on our side, you may choose: (a) to wait, (b) replacement with an item of equivalent value, (c) store credit, or (d) a refund to the original payment method where that method is refundable. If delivery fails because you provided an incorrect Roblox username, blocked our trader, or are unable to receive trades, we will work with you in good faith but reserve the right to charge a re-delivery fee.

10. Not Affiliated with Roblox

The Golden Market is an independent third party. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise associated with Roblox Corporation or any of its games, including Sniper Duels or Bladeball. "Roblox" and all related names, logos, and trademarks are the property of their respective owners.

11. Limitation of Liability

The Site and all services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Golden Market and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or in-game assets, arising out of your use of the Site. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid to The Golden Market in the 30 days preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD $100.

12. Intellectual Property

All Site content — including The Golden Market name, logo, design, code, copy, and curated inventory listings — is owned by The Golden Market or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. By submitting content (e.g., reviews, screenshots, support messages), you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and use that content in connection with operating and promoting the Site. Third-party trademarks (including Roblox-related game names) belong to their respective owners.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by (a) posting a banner on the Site, and (b) where reasonably possible, sending an email to the address registered to your account. The "Effective date" at the top of this page will be updated. Continued use of the Site after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Ontario, Canada, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

15. Giveaways and Promotions

From time to time, we may run giveaways, contests, or promotional events ("Promotions"). Participation is voluntary and subject to these Terms and any additional rules posted for the specific Promotion. Winners are selected at random or according to criteria stated in the Promotion rules. Prizes are non-transferable and have no cash value unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to disqualify participants for cheating, botting, or any violation of these Terms. Void where prohibited by law.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Golden Market, its operators, affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your use of the Site; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any rights of another party; or (d) any content you submit to the Site.

17. Force Majeure

We will not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under these Terms where such failure or delay results from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, accidents, strikes, shortages of transportation, facilities, fuel, energy, labor, or materials, or failures of telecommunications or internet service providers.

18. Severability and Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be severed and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and The Golden Market regarding your use of the Site and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and communications, whether written or oral.
